Cambridge, MD Wedding Videography // Quron and Jordan

Jordan and Q are inseparable. Last year, Jordan was the Make-Up artist for one of Matt Stambaugh Films brides. When Jordan and Q became engaged, she reached out and asked me to film her wedding. One of the best feelings in the world is to have another wedding industry professional trust in you for their wedding film. Meeting Jordan and Q, their personalities are amazing and their wedding day was just as awesome. From Q getting a quick cut before his big day on a porch, to their first look in an amazing location, to some of the best vows I’ve ever heard and a dance party I will NEVER forget, their day was perfect. I can’t wait to start their film, but here is a little teaser from their day!

It enjoyable filming Q and Jordan’s Destination Wedding in Cambridge MD and we wish you the absolute best!

Wind in the Willows // Scott and Lauren

AH! This year is HANDS down the best year of Matt Stambaugh Films. I’m not sure if it’s that I am progressing and learning the in’s and out’s more than before or if the stars are aligning and everything seems to be working out so so perfectly, but I am yet again blessed to work with one of the best couples ever. Scott and Lauren.

Central PA is a tight knit area, and I’ve grown to love it. Being able to film weddings of friends that I grew up with really puts a warm feeling in my heart and Scott and Lauren’s did just that. It’s really insane how things work out. One day we are in high school and almost ten years later, I’m filming weddings for a living, friends are getting married and I get to share their story. I love it. Absolutely love it.

Lauren lived in the same neighborhood as me when we were going to high school for some time. Once I graduated, Scott and I were able to surf a few times together (one of which we thought we were going to be swept away into the ocean by the size of the waves, but I am here to share their wedding today).

These two are incredible. Their families are amazing, and their friends, well let’s just say, I had an incredible time filming their reception with all of the dancing and antics going on through the dance floor.

Their love, their story and Lauren’s Father’s toast, really set things into perspective for me. So THANK YOU!

Morris Arboretum, Philadelphia, PA // Kevin + Nikki

Morris Arboretum Wedding VideographyIn 2005 I started on my ski adventure, picking up a set of twin tips from one of my closest friends and I never looked back. From that point in time, we would always travel to other mountains and meet other skiing friends. Mostly those who participated in the freestyle ski scene. Early on, I had the opportunity to meet Kevin and over the last ten years, I always get to ski or hang out with him and his brother Justin and their ski friends about once a year and it’s the day I look forward to most each year in skiing. It’s always a blast and fun. Everyone is so care-free and the Thomas brothers are the two nicest guys I think you would ever meet on the mountain.

Fast forward now, Kevin and Nikki were ready to be wed at Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia. Man, that venue ROCKS! I was so honored when Kevin reached out and asked if I would capture their wedding day. There is always something so special when a close friend trusts you enough to tell their wedding story.

If I’ve ever seen a perfect wedding schedule, hands down I would say Kevin and Nikki had it. Not only was I able to film both bride and groom prep (big thanks to Jon for helping out!), we were able to do their first look, and have almost two hours of portrait time before their ceremony! We got to capture cocktail hour and film details, and have lighting set up at the reception. TIME IS YOUR FRIEND on your wedding day and man, they killed it.

I wish the both of you the absolute best, and I look forward to the next ski day this season!

Destination Wedding // Half Moon Resort, Jamaica // Elliot and Jordan

Jamaica wedding destination videography pennsylvania new jersey maryland

Jordan and Elliot.  They trusted us to travel to Jamaica to film their destination wedding.  It was an honor.  A complete honor.  It’s crazy how three years ago, I never once thought I would be traveling across the world to film weddings, but with God’s blessing, it happened.  My good friend Greg from Willow Tree Films came along for the ride.  I was lucky enough to work with Dani Leigh Photography (who I highly recommend).

We flew in on Sunday and were able to attend Jordan and Elliot’s rehearsal dinner.  22 of their best friends joined them in a night filled with dinner, dancing and fun.  From that point on, their wedding day was a blast.  It’s always fun when you have gorgeous weather and all day long we were graced with some of the most incredible light.  A fire breather was a surprise during their reception and man, was that awesome to watch.

I think I’m still in shock from how incredible their wedding was, but check out their trailer below and enjoy!  Oh, BTW, I was told it was illegal to fly drones in Jamaica.  I’m not sure if that’s true or not as I can’t find anything online.  But we got the shot.

The Barn at Boones Dam // Katie and Joe

Katie and Joe are the two most fun loving people I’ve met. Not only are they super laid back, but they know how to have fun in ANY situation. From a groomsman walk resembling that in “Anchorman” to Katie and Joe’s vows (which were incredible), these two have fun pretty much all of the time. It was our first time shoot at the Barn at Boones Dam in Bloomsburg, PA but we absolutely loved it.

Katie and Joe were so nice to work with. Their wedding day was an absolute joy and watching their friends and family celebrate their marriage with them, it shows just how much they love one another.

I’m left with only one question after their wedding day; and that’s, who is better at Skee Ball?
